I don't think I watched one single episode of Brother's & Sister's for the entire '08 season and all I had to do was watch the season finale on the Internet and now I am all caught up. Doesn't get much better than that!
We do that instead of cable. The sad thing is that you can watch a show from the pilot to the last episode, and then you find out it was canceled months ago. Sigh.

A soap at it's finest. I can catch up on Days of Our Lives in one episode, after not watching it for months.
