The Vote

Which might better be stated, The Historic Vote. Because it is, isn't it? Even while our economy spirals downward, people cheer for the hope that is to come with the newly elected president.

I voted today ... walked down the street to the grange hall. Got my sticker too. Used the sticker to get a free coffee at Starbucks : )

McCain's defeat speech: 2 Thumbs Up
Booing audience: 2 Thumbs Down

Waiting ... waiting for Obama to make his entrance ...

I am very impatient!

It was incredible to see how moved so many people were by the results of this election. The tears and hope and elation in their eyes as they look towards the future.

I love God. I love that He is my future and my present. That whatever happens, He is unchanging and good.

I like the part when it showed Rev. Jesse Jackson having tears of joy at Obama's election party when only 3 months earlier he said he wanted to cut Obama's balls off. Interesting. I'm happy with the turn out in the props (except for 4 *abortion notice*) and even though my guy did not win I hope that Obama can bring the hope and change he has talked so much about.

I told Glenn that if John McCain spoke that well during campaigning then he might have done better. It was a very nice speech and I am glad he quieted the booers. The passion that so many held in this election was amazing. I only wish I felt as passionate about it all. So I guess I will go with Jennifer's sentiments and trust God through it all.
