Wander Pets

Sage: Dad, I know why they are called the "Wonder Pets."
Dad: Really?
Sage: Yeah, they are called that because they wander around everywhere.

That's great!

My favorite misused word this week is hippo. As in, "There are baby's hippos! I have hippos, too, see?" Lifting shirt and showing nipples. Silly me said, "those are your nipples!" To which I got, "NO, they are my hippopotamus!"

To be fair, the Wonder Pets do wander out of their cages a lot!

Sage (When excited): "Hippee!"
Me: Hey Sage, it's "Yippee!"
Sage: Well, I say "Hippee."
Me: I think that one's already taken, it means something else. It actually refers to someone who is dressed like, well, your sister.
Sage: "Hippee!"

I loved this one...
Sage, "Grandma, we have tres perros. We only have tres because Cheyenne died."
Grandma..."You are right. How do you say that in English?"
Sage, "Grandma, what is English?"

Wow! The commenters are just as clever as the blogger. Something about 4 year olds because we have been getting some funny ones here too!

Peter is mixing up his proper pronouns....He is "you." So it goes like this:

Peter: You want up.
Me: Who's You.
Peter: Peter is You, You is Peter.

He's finally getting the "My." Part and yesterday for the first time he said to David....My Love You Daddy.....Very Precious.

That reminds me of when my niece was little, she'd ask her mom, "Mommy hold ya?" Meaning that she'd want her mom to pick her up. Whenever my sis asked her if she wanted up, she'd ask her, "Do you want Mommy to hold you?"
So funny (if that made any sense at all?!).
